Stress is real, yes you’ve heard me. It’s for real. It has different modes and faces. It silently crawls in your life and sets up its roots in your body. Sometimes people think that getting exhausted or fatigued is stress. Yes, it’s a kind of stress. But there is another form of stress too, which exhausts you mentally, emotionally and physically. It’s that stress which when reaches at its highest level, will make you hit the rock bottom. Sometimes we don’t realise that little things can cause a big time stress. When people don’t listen to what you need to say, when you feel you are unable to express your feelings, when things don’t go like you’ve planned them to, when looking after someone else you forget that you need time to look after yourself too, when making others happy you forget that you need to be happy too, when being there for someone you forget that someone should be there for you too, when you are unable to meet the demands and expectations of others, you trying to catch up with others, yet you can’t. There is a lot more too, but we need to fend for ourselves sometimes. Others don’t usually realise and are unable to help us, because we too are unable to find out that we are under stress. So living a life in today’s situations around us, we need to stop and think and realise that whether we are under stress or not. If we find ourselves in it then seek help, of a friend, spouse, doctor, and what you think will be good enough for you. Don’t be ashamed of talking about your feelings. And for the other people, listen to what one has to say, don’t point out that he or she is losing faith, no at that point be a motivational hand for them, which will lead them out from that dark pit that they are unintentionally, without realising falling in. Every human is different from one another, all we need is a little compassion and empathy for each other.
