Motherhood…..

Motherhood is full of happy, bad, frustrating, thankful, regretful, lovely episodes. Its a walk up and down the hill. But every now and then little reminders let you know how truly blessed you have been. Every day is a constant learning. We sometimes get so much indulge in this world that we forget to thank Allah for the goodness He has blessed us with, He might have taken a much harder test from us, but He didn’t. Alhumdulilah.
When I had my fourth child, he was admitted to hospital for breathing issues. It was a time of so much pain and frustration for me and my best half (I call him my best half instead of better half, as he is the best thing that ever happened to me). It was a time when my heart felt like bursting into million of pieces every time I was unable to hold my child.
Alhumdulilah he came back home better and every time I hug or kiss my child I ask Allah that, will I ever be able to thank Him for this blessing or all of my 4 blessings.

Motherhood is such a emotional roller coaster ride. Sometimes we feel so frustrated if the kids are not listening that we shout or scold the kids, and at the end of the day we regret why we even did that, and crying out if really are we good enough. But trust me, we are doing the best for our kids, otherwise Allah wouldn’t have chosen us for them. Its a privilege He has blessed us with. Yes it has ups and downs but they are the best things that happened to us and we are the best things that happened to them . So let it go with the flow  its a life long learning process full of laughter, crying, sadness and love.
