The Miracle Healing!
βœ… Sahih al-Bukhari 5736 β€” Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رآي Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ†Ω‡)

A group of the Prophet's Companions were travelling and stopped near an Arab tribe. They asked for hospitality, but the tribe refused.

Soon after, the chief of that same tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion). The tribe tried everything but nothing helped. They remembered the travellers and came asking for help.

One Companion said he would help, but since the tribe had refused them hospitality, he asked for a reward. They agreed to give a flock of sheep.

The Companion went to the sick man and began reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, gathering his saliva and blowing gently on the bite. The man was completely cured by Allah's permission.

The Companions took the sheep but said: "We will not take this until we ask the Prophet ο·Ί." When they told him what happened, the Prophet ο·Ί smiled and said:

"How did you know that it was a Ruqyah? You have done the right thing. Divide the sheep and give me a share with you."
β€” Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί (Sahih al-Bukhari 5736)
πŸ’‘ Lesson from this story
Surah Al-Fatihah has healing power by Allah's permission. The Prophet ο·Ί approved using it as Ruqyah (healing recitation) and even asked for a share of the reward β€” showing this is completely permissible and blessed in Islam.

The Greatest Surah in the Qur'an!
βœ… Sahih al-Bukhari 4474 β€” Narrated by Abu Sa'id ibn al-Mu'alla (رآي Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ†Ω‡)

A Companion named Abu Sa'id ibn al-Mu'alla was praying in the mosque when the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί called out to him. He did not respond because he was in prayer. After finishing, he went to the Prophet ο·Ί.

The Prophet ο·Ί said: "What prevented you from coming? Did Allah not say: 'O you who believe, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you'?" Then he said: "I shall teach you the greatest Surah in the Qur'an before I leave the mosque."

The Prophet ο·Ί then started to leave, and the Companion reminded him of his promise. The Prophet ο·Ί said:

"It is: Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin β€” it is the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses (As-Sab' Al-Mathani) and the Glorious Qur'an that I was given."
β€” Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί (Sahih al-Bukhari 4474)
πŸ’‘ Lesson from this story
The Prophet ο·Ί himself declared Surah Al-Fatihah the GREATEST Surah in the Qur'an. It is a special gift from Allah β€” nothing like it was given to any Prophet in any scripture before!

No Prayer Without Al-Fatihah
βœ… Sahih al-Bukhari 756 Β· Sahih Muslim 394 β€” Narrated by 'Ubadah ibn as-Samit (رآي Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ†Ω‡)

The Messenger of Allah ο·Ί said:

"There is no Salah (prayer) for the one who does not recite the Opening Chapter of the Book (Al-Fatihah)."

This is agreed upon by all scholars β€” Surah Al-Fatihah is a pillar (rukn) of every single Rak'ah. Without it, the prayer is not valid!

πŸ’‘ Lesson from this hadith
Every Muslim prays at least 17 Rak'aat a day. That means you recite Al-Fatihah at least 17 times every single day β€” over 6,000 times a year! Learning its meaning will transform your entire prayer life.

Two Lights Never Given Before
βœ… Sahih Muslim 806 β€” Narrated by Ibn Abbas (رآي Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ†Ω‡)

Ibn Abbas narrated that while Jibreel (Angel Gabriel) was sitting with the Prophet ο·Ί, he heard a creaking sound from above and lifted his head. He said:

"This is a gate of heaven that has been opened today β€” it has never been opened before."

Then an angel descended who had never come down to earth before. He greeted the Prophet ο·Ί and said:

"Rejoice in two lights that have been given to you, which no Prophet before you was given: Al-Fatihah and the concluding verses of Surah Al-Baqarah. You will never recite a single letter from them except that you will be given what they contain."
β€” Sahih Muslim 806
πŸ’‘ Lesson from this hadith
A door of heaven was specially opened when Al-Fatihah was revealed β€” a door that had never been opened before! An angel who had never descended to earth came just to deliver this news. SubhanAllah β€” this shows how incredibly precious this Surah is!
